Micha, a born and raised Neapolitan, co-owns and operates BouTeak by JM Inc. with her mother, Jackie Morelisse in Naples, Florida. Micha started her career in the home building industry in Austin, Texas as a New Home Sales Consultant for a community builder, then quickly realized her passion for sustainable design and furniture sales. Her philosophy in green design is structured around the strong conviction that entrepreneurial activities and environmental preservation can coexist in a sustainable fashion.
Through her management at BouTeak, Micha ensures proficient daily operations and finds humor in calling herself her mother’s “boss”.
Micha received her bachelor’s degree in business management from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA and is certified in CAD design.

Jackie grew up in Narragansett, Rhode Island and graduated from Forsyth Dental in Boston, Massachusetts. Although her studies are in dental hygiene, her heart has always been in the arts. She has dedicated most of her time in various genres of art and has emerged as a vibrant and versatile artist. Jackie’s artistry has evolved over the years with a technique that is whimsical, colorful and brimming with passion. She transforms the mundane into the unique, and views her surroundings with a perspective that is fresh and unexpected. She has come to understand that art is creating an atmosphere of how to express herself without words no matter what the medium is.
As co-owner of BouTeak, Jackie’s expertise in color and design and her visionary creative project leadership evolved from over two decades of extensive hands-on experience in the arts and immersive global travel. With an eye toward joyful, dynamic and often whimsical expression, Jackie’s projects include a handcrafted collection of furniture, art, fashion and ecotourism.
A maverick of sustainable art and business practices, Jackie acts as creative director of Cinco Ceibas Rainforest Reserve & Adventure Park, working with local residents to provide opportunities for travelers from across the globe to enjoy and learn about the lush vibrant beauty of the rainforest without impacting it. Jackie designs memorable experience for global travelers that include wellness programs, retreats, skin care, locally sourced handicrafts and farm to table dining. Jackie lives in Naples, Florida with her husband Henk and is the proud mother of two bright, creative and beautiful daughters Micha and Femke.
